Conditions:
Child rates apply for 4-14 years. Infants 0-3 years travel free of charge. Family rates apply for 2 adults and 2 children. Presentation of a valid photo ID and the credit card used to book/a credit card is required for anti-fraud verification purposes at check-in. Due to potential significant volatility in supply and operational costs, a surcharge may be applied due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, any charge will be collected on departure.
A credit card surcharge may apply. At times of scheduled maintenance, our dive and snorkel catamaran Silversonic will operate in place Poseidon.
Scuba Diving Conditions:
Certain medical conditions and medications may preclude some people from diving. Please contact us for advice or if you have any questions. Flying after diving: A wait of 12 hours is recommended but preferably 24 hours, if doing multiple dives, before ascending to an altitude of 300 metres or greater. The minimum age for diving in Queensland is 12 years. Certified divers must posses an internationally recognized SCUBA certificate card.
Optional Extra:
Return coach transfers from Cairns and Nothern beaches. Certified Scuba Diving, Wetsuits available for hire on board & Professional photographer service on board. Underwater digital cameras are available for hire.
Levies:
A Government Environmental Management Charge is payable by all adults and children 4 years and over entering the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area. This charge is included in the total price shown.
Departing daily from Port Douglas, Poseidon is a 24-metre catamaran designed for personalised dive and snorkel adventures as you visit 3 different reef sites on the outer Great Barrier Reef at the stunning Agincourt ribbon reefs.
Enjoy snorkelling in this marine wilderness, including a guided snorkel tour, or choose to scuba dive (at additional cost). Certified divers can enjoy up to 3 dives. With freshwater showers, a licensed bar, an air-conditioned saloon and open deck areas, Poseidon makes a perfect setting to enjoy a day on the reef. Poseidon also has a special permit allowing guests to swim with the dwarf minkewhales.
