2 Day Reef and Rainforest Package

  • Day 1 — Great Barrier Reef aboard Evolution:

    • Return cruise from Cairns to two Outer Great Barrier Reef locations

    • Approximately 5 hours of reef time to snorkel and explore

    • All snorkelling equipment & floatation devices provided

    • Free lycra/sun-suit hire for comfort and sun protection

    Day 2 — Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation:

    • Daintree River cruise with wildlife viewing

    • Rainforest boardwalk exploration

    • Beach visit at Cape Tribulation

    • Lunch at a local rainforest café

    End Location: Cairns, QLD, 4870, AU

    • Check-in day 1 is usually early morning at the Reef Fleet Terminal in Cairns (often between 7:15 am and 7:45 am).
    • Evolution departs about 8:00 am and returns around 4:30 pm on reef day.
    • This tour involves extended water time — snorkelling in open ocean conditions (suitable for competent swimmers).
    • Minimum age, medical and safety requirements apply for diving activities — certified divers must present recognised certification and all divers must complete a medical questionnaire onboard.
    • Reef and helicopter activities are weather dependent and may be modified or rescheduled for safety.
    • Transfers for the rainforest day include pickup/drop-off zones which are confirmed at booking (Cairns, Northern Beaches or Port Douglas).
    • Comfortable clothing, swimwear, sunscreen, hat and refillable water bottle are recommended.
    • Tour operators have advanced eco-tourism accreditation and are local, experienced providers with many years on the reef and rainforest

Over the first day, you’ll cruise from Cairns aboard the luxurious 35-metre super-yacht Evolution, heading out to the Outer Great Barrier Reef for a spectacular reef experience. Spend up to 5 hours exploring two pristine reef locations where you’ll snorkel among colourful coral gardens, abundant fish life and marine creatures. On the second day, discover the ancient landscapes of the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation with expert guides — where lush rainforest meets rugged coastline.
