No refund will be provided if the semi-submersible tour or glass bottom boat tour is not operated due to weather or mechanical issues. Passengers who are prone to motion sickness are advised to take necessary precautions such as motion sickness medication before travel. There are minimum age requirements for optional activities such as SCUBA diving. The only physical requirement is that you are able to move freely around the pontoon and catamaran. The water is accessible by stairs fitted with handrails. Our Great Barrier Reef catamarans are equipped with gangways for boarding from the Cairns Marina and to the pontoon. These gangways are narrow so it is advised that you get in contact with our team prior to your tour date to ensure your ability to board comfortably and safely. Disabled toilets are situated on the aft deck on our reef boats. There are also portable ramps for use to assist in wheelchairs crossing hatchways and onto the gangways as required. However, if you are going to Fitzroy Island, there is no wheelchair access available for this service.Helicopter Tours: Scenic Flight for this tour is operated by Zoom Helicopters, subject to their terms & conditions (which may differ from Sunlover Cruises). The maximum single-seat weight limit/payload for Zoom Helicopters’ fleet of aircraft is 130 kg. Due to aviation regulations, the infant age for Helicopter flights differs from travel aboard Sunlover Cruises' vessel only. Infants 0-2 years can fly FOC on the lap of the parent or guardian. (Limited to 1 infant per flight / must be advised at the time of booking). Helicopter per-seat charges apply to all passengers 2 years and older. The passenger’s individual weight MUST be advised at the time of booking. If a weight variance of more than 10% is determined upon check-in, Zoom reserves the right to charge a 100% cancellation fee. Enjoy the morning at Moore Reef pontoon with the inclusion of a 10-minute scenic flight on a ZOOM helicopter. From the helipad at Moore Reef, you will soar high above the natural wonder of the Great Barrier Reef and admire its sheer size and beauty! Then, cruise onto Fitzroy Island for 2 hours for on-island exploration.
Departing from Cairns, embark on a 1.5-hour journey aboard our air-conditioned catamaran to reach Sunlover Moore Reef Pontoon located on the Outer Great Barrier Reef.
