Your journey begins with a scenic drive up the Kuranda Range, passing through the charming rainforest village of Kuranda before arriving at Barron Gorge National Park, home to the spectacular Barron Falls. Take in panoramic views from Wrights Lookout, where your guide shares stories of the region’s rich natural and cultural heritage.
The adventure continues with a 4WD journey along Clohesy River Road, winding through dense rainforest and mountain terrain. Stop at the Clohesy Boardwalk to walk among ancient ferns and stand beneath the awe-inspiring giant strangler fig tree, believed to be hundreds of years old.
Cool off with a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear waters of Davies Creek, surrounded by tranquil rainforest, then indulge in a delicious serving of locally made ice cream before returning to Cairns via the scenic Henry Ross Lookout.
