  • Day 1 – Rainforest, Tablelands & Outback Savannah

    Day 2 – Undara Lava Tubes & Travel to Cobbold Gorge

    • Early breakfast and depart for Undara Lava Tubes National Park

    • Travel along Gulf Development Road via Mount Surprise

    • Lunch stop at historic Einasleigh Hotel (own cost)

    • Short visit to Copperfield Gorge

    • Continue through Forsayth to Cobbold Gorge Village

    • Campfire, dinner and social evening at outback accommodation

    Day 3 – Cobbold Gorge Exploration

    • Full day in Cobbold Gorge region

    • Guided boat cruise through narrow sandstone channels

    • Wildlife spotting including freshwater crocodiles and birdlife

    • Local storytelling from guides about Indigenous culture and station history

    • Optional add-ons: helicopter scenic flights, kayaking, paddle boarding (extra cost)

    • Pool, hiking trails and leisure options at Cobbold Gorge Village

    Day 4 – Outback Return to Cairns

    • Depart Cobbold Gorge for Georgetown

    • Visit Information Centre with local gold mining history and displays

    • Return journey through Atherton Tablelands

    • Optional stops (time permitting): Herberton Historic Village, Innot Hot Springs, The Crater, chocolate and cheese factory

    • Arrive back in Cairns by early evening

    Pickup: Please be ready at least 5 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. Pickup locations are as arranged in your booking (Cairns area or en route). We do ask all guests to allow 15-20 minute pick up window as we do many pickups in the Cairns CBD area and this can vary from day to day. If your guide is not at your pick up location on the dot, please do not panic, they will be on their way and we just ask you to be patient.
